How Often Should I Groom?

The following Breeds are recomended every 4-6 weeks.

Bichon Frise
Cocker Spaniel                     
Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu           
Poodle

The following Breeds are recomended every 8-10 weeks.

Golden Retriever
Schnauzer
Springer Spaniel
Terriers (Most)


What About Brushing?

Brushing between grooming appointments is important.
One important tip to prevent matting - NEVER - bathe your pet without a thorough brushing out.

Why May Shaving Be Necessary?

The term matted is used when hair is tangled and a comb cannot be run through.

Removing mats can be painful and often impossible.

Shaving is the alternative.

Underlying skin conditions or Flea problems can be treated.

Skin is healthier.

Frequent brushing can eliminate the need for shaving.

Senior Pets

Senior pets deserve respect and dignity. Some develop problems, making them more difficult to groom.
We welcome older pets, but may need to charge more for the extra time, care and expertise some
Senior pets require. Please call with questions.
